Lures 2007-2008

The theme of these pieces is: home as a symbol of success and conversely as a trap. The formal elements act as a proscenium to define a space and to house objects made from dried animal parts, bone and found materials. Fish hooks and sharp rods represent snares, while moldings, fine fabrics and crystals are the bait laid out to seduce the willing prey.
