If Guns Made Us Safer

​The NRA and a majority of lawmakers want us to believe that arming more citizens is the most effective way to prevent mass shootings. The US ranks #1 in the world in per-capita gun ownership, and in the top 30 countries in per-capita gun-related deaths. The statistics are clear, adding more guns to our daily lives will not make us safer.
